Focus Comic Free Summer Camp : New Class

The next new Focus comic summer camp project will start Aug 31 2019 in Phoenix.

Each student will be provided with one tile. We will teach our students how to make super hero coasters by creating a design that they like, then learning how to draw it on the tile and apply glazes to give it a shiney look.

It will be a one part class although the students will need to come back to the studio two weeks later to pick up their master piece. The rationale for this, is because we need to put their coaster in the kiln.

Registration is now open for this new class.

The duration of the class will be approximately an hour depending on the student’s pace of work.

Douglas Hebert, Professional Sculptor; Head artist and art internship coach for Focus comic will be teaching with Yvonne Wan, creator of Focus comic. Yvonne is also an award winning artist to.

All art materials will be supplied free of charge to students with autism. The firing of the projects and glazing will be free to. Complimentary drinks and snacks will be included.

Class starts at 1pm.

Completed projects will be photographed professionally in a photo booth so the kids can be proud of their art. Free photography and filming of the class will be provided courtesy of Yvonne Wan, the sole creator of Focus comic.
