We are proud to announce that Office Depot fulfilled our 12 year old autistic intern’s dream by giving him his own variant cover in support of autism awareness.
We will be celebrating its official comic book store release this weekend in Tucson, where Malekith resides. We look forward to Malekith’s reaction to seeing his variant cover on a comic store shelf in his home town. He is one of the worlds youngest autistic comic strip artists to have his own cover published. We hope Malekith will be a role model to other autistic kids. Please come and join our community outreach event and comic book signing this Saturday.
Toys ink in Tucson will be the first comic store in Tucson to stock our comic and we will be having a comic book signing and community outreach event at Toys ink this Saturday 28th July 2018. Special guests include: Sole creator Yvonne Wan, main artist and daily internship coach Douglas Hebert, autistic intern Malekith George and Focus advocate Troy George.
The community outreach event includes family friendly activities including a free community coloring competition and awesome prizes. Also included is free face painting; balloon twisting and photo opportunities with cosplayers. Yvonne will be attending as Disney princess Mulan. The Star Trek cosplay group will attend and various other cosplayers.
Please join the fun!
