Tony Todd to present prizes to winners of the Focus Comic Community Coloring Competition at Greater Austin Comicon


The goodwill brand ambassador for Focus Comic Tony Todd (Hollywood actor famous for being in The Candyman, Star Trek and The Flash) will be presenting prizes to the winners of the Focus community coloring competition at Greater Austin Comic con. Tony will be seated our our Focus table for the entire weekend with the Focus Team. Yvonne Wan, Douglas Hebert and Autistic artist Tabidi Elkhalil (one of the worlds first published comic book artist) will be attending to sign autographs with Tony Todd. Tony will also attend the Focus Comic Panel on Sunday. So please attend it!

Focus is an autism awareness comic, packed with action adventure. It has Marvel and DC talent working along side autistic talent Tabidi Elkhalil and Malekith George. The comic is unique in that they advocate for autism awareness at community outreach events and have a daily internship program fro autistic kids and young adults. The sole creator of Focus comic Yvonne Wan is an anthropologist, artist, writer, film maker and cosplayer will be joined by Douglas Hebert who is an award winning artist and certified art teacher with experience in teaching autistic kids. They will be providing free coloring workshops at the event for the weekend, and will offer cool prizes for the public to win. Tony Todd looks forward to presenting prizes to the winners.

Kevin B. Eastman, creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gave us an awesome prize to help us promote Focus Comic and #autismawareness. We will be giving attendants of Greater Austin Comic Con an opportunity to win a book with Kevin’s signature and a drawing of a turtle face on it; along with other cool prizes we managed to source for the community coloring competition (Office Depot gift cards, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Austin Cedar Park gift cards, Strathmore Artist Papers and more cool prizes).
